Crypto news vs price

A bot reads crypto news around the clock and measures what the price did after each story: 15 minutes, 1 hour and 4 hours later. Every morning it publishes a report for the previous day. No forecasts and no trading advice: only the news, the sources and the measured reaction.

The site is in development. Right now only the Russian version works in full: coin pages, daily reports, the market overview, data and methodology. The English version is coming soon, with the same data and reports.

What NewsVsPrice does

One tool for people who want to understand the crypto market from data, not from hype.

newsNews without the noise

The bot collects news from official channels, major media, X and mass news feeds, merges reprints into one story and drops junk such as price widgets and off-topic mentions.

reactionMeasured price reaction

For every story the bot records the price change 15 minutes, 1 hour and 4 hours later, net of the market move: how the coin moved compared with bitcoin.

daily reportA report every morning

Each coin gets a daily page: open and close price, the main stories with sources, sharp moves and a chart of reactions. The day is counted in UTC.

sourcesWhich sources move the price

Over time the data shows which sources report first and after which stories the price actually moved. Correlation in time is not proof of cause, and the site says so.

How it works

  1. Collect. Every 30 minutes the bot checks its sources for each coin and for the market as a whole.
  2. Filter. Reprints of the same story are merged, junk is dropped, important events such as listings, hacks, regulation and ETF news are flagged.
  3. Measure. When each time window closes, the bot records how the price moved after the story, with and without the market move.
  4. Publish. At 07:30 Bangkok time (00:30 UTC) the daily report for the previous day goes to the site and to the Telegram group.

Free experiment: the bot is learning and can make mistakes. Not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy or sell.
