news with the price reaction
PEPE is the sharpest coin in the bot: its beta to bitcoin is about 2.15. So the main number is its own move after the market is taken out. Next, look at spikes and drops: next to each one are the news from three hours before and three hours after, if there was any. And look at the source: a post by a famous person, a whale transfer and a media article weigh differently. This is a link in time, it does not prove a cause.
PEPE: summary and history
PEPE has no blog, no releases and no roadmap. Its price is more often moved by large holders, posts on X and the market's general appetite for risk. That is why spikes and drops are especially important in PEPE recaps: they happen even without news. PEPE has been in the bot since October 30, 2026.

PEPE coin statistics and analysis
For PEPE, the statistics are made by whales, X and futures. In October 2026 this was easy to see. According to the media, on October 17 and 26 wallets linked to Justin Sun withdrew about 2.82% of all coins from an exchange. On October 23 PEPE grew 13% after a frog meme from the CEO of Coinbase. On October 28 dormant wallets moved 2.27 trillion PEPE. And on October 29 the bot caught a spike of 8.5% in an hour. Some analysts see the October growth as a short squeeze – when the price is pushed up by traders closing bets on a fall.
Where the bot gets PEPE data
PEPE has almost no official messages: the project only has an account on X. So the bot has two sources of its own – the official account and Bing News – plus aggregators of large transfers on X that report whale moves. On top – 25 shared crypto sources.
PEPE has its own folder in the Telegram bot @invest_prs_bot. The result of the past day is on the What happened to PEPE in 24 hours page.
What is PEPE coin
PEPE is a meme coin named after Pepe the frog from internet memes. It is a token on the Ethereum network, launched in April 2023. It has no product, no team with a roadmap and no revenue. The price is moved only by public interest, large holders (whales) and the general mood of the market.
I am not saying this as a reproach, but to be honest. A meme coin is a pure bet on mood. Such coins grow faster than all others when the market is greedy, and fall faster than all others when it is afraid. They have no fundamental "floor".
On October 30, 2026, PEPE cost $0.00000515, the market cap was $2.17 billion, 46th place. The 24-hour trading volume is $2.16 billion, almost the whole market cap. In a day the coin changes hands for about the same sum as the whole coin is worth. This is a sign of speculation, not of long-term holders.
How many PEPE coins there are
There are 420.69 trillion PEPE in total, and all of them are already in circulation. No new ones are issued, there are no unlocks. A price in millionths of a dollar is the result of a huge number of coins, not "cheapness". Coins are better compared by market cap, not by the price per coin.

Binance data. The all-time high is $0.00002803, on December 9, 2024 (CoinGecko). On October 30, 2026, the price is 82% lower.
My story with PEPE. At the end of 2023 I bought $10 of it – and sold. About a month later PEPE took off: according to Binance, from a low of $0.00000086 in February 2024 to a high of $0.0000108 in March – 12.6 times in five weeks. My $10 would have become about $100–150. A funny amount, I understand. But in percentage terms it is exactly what people go into meme coins for – and exactly what I missed, because I did not follow the coin.
And the other side: in 2025 PEPE lost 80%. Meme coins can do that too.
Who moves the PEPE price
In October 2026 PEPE grew against a falling market: plus 19% over 30 days, plus 7% over the week, plus 131% from the July bottom ($0.00000223). Bitcoin over the same month – minus 8%. What coincided with this growth, according to the media and the bot:
- Whales. According to Arkham, wallets linked to Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, withdrew PEPE from the Poloniex exchange on October 17 and 26 – about 2.82% of all coins, roughly $51 million.
- Posts on X. On October 23 PEPE grew 13% after a frog meme posted by the CEO of Coinbase.
- Dormant wallets. On October 28 long-inactive holders moved 2.27 trillion PEPE, and about $1.6 million more went to Coinbase.
- A spike in the bot's data. On October 29 PEPE added 11.2% in 24 hours, and at 15:15 UTC the bot caught a spike of 8.5% in an hour.
Some analysts see the October growth as a short squeeze. This is when the price is pushed up not by new buyers, but by traders who bet on a fall and have to close their positions. PEPE futures volume, according to the media, grew by about 73%. Such growth usually ends fast.
A link in time is not the same as a cause. But for PEPE the main thing is visible: the price is moved not by project news, but by the people and money around it. So the most important sources for PEPE are X and large transfers, not the media.
PEPE and bitcoin
PEPE is the sharpest coin in the bot. Its 90-day beta to bitcoin is 2.15: if bitcoin falls by 1%, PEPE falls by about 2% on average. Correlation is 0.78, annual volatility is about 100–106%. That is why the service counts PEPE's reaction to news with bitcoin taken out: otherwise almost any move would just be an echo of the market, only louder.
There is also the opposite observation: when PEPE grows against bitcoin, it is often a sign that the market is ready to take risks. In this sense a meme coin is a handy indicator of the crowd's mood.
PEPE risks
- No fundamentals: the price rests only on public interest.
- Whales: large holders can sell at any moment.
- Short squeeze: part of the growth comes from futures, not real demand.
- Volatility: drops 2–3 times stronger than the market.
- Little official news: the price is moved by third-party posts.
If you are a beginner, meme coins are the last place to start anything other than watching. Watching PEPE is useful: it shows best of all how the market mood turns into price.
