What happened to crypto: how the daily overview works
The page always shows the last closed UTC day, midnight to midnight UTC. It refreshes every morning, and the previous day moves to the archive of market days. The overview covers market-wide news, each coin's result, every spike and drop and the strongest price reactions.
How to read the day's results
Start with bitcoin: it sets the tone for the whole market. Then look at the own move of the other coins – what is left after bitcoin is taken out. If all of crypto fell and the own moves are near zero, it was a market day: the reason is looked for in the general feed. If one coin clearly moved away, it had its own day, and the answer is in its news.
An example from the bot's database. On October 30, 2026, bitcoin fell 0.86%, and the general feed had a Binance hack. But the own moves that day went apart: PEPE +9.85 pp, Stellar +6.52 pp, XRP +2.91 pp, GRAM +2.02 pp, Solana +1.80 pp. The market was falling, and five coins out of six did better than it. This is what the answer to "what is happening to crypto" looks like in numbers, not in headlines.
Why did crypto drop or go up: what stands behind the day
In 2026 the move of the whole market was most often backed by three things: the money of exchange-traded funds, expectations on the Fed rate and US laws. Add exchange hacks and failures – and you get most of the days when "crypto crashed". Timing alone does not prove cause: we write "coincided with the news".
What is in the table of coin results
The table shows each coin's open and close price, the 24-hour change, the own move without bitcoin, the number of stories and sharp moves. Below – the strongest reactions of the day: stories after which a coin's own price moved the most. If the strongest reactions of different coins stand close in time, it is most likely one general market story, not six different ones.
Crypto yesterday – every morning
The overview is built every morning after the UTC day closes. The Telegram bot sends the same breakdown for free: for each coin – the day's result and a link to the page with the news. There are no ads here or there. I made it for myself because I could not keep up with dozens of channels, and opened it for free.
Each coin's conclusion is drafted by the AI from the bot's data, and it can be wrong. For the day in progress, see Crypto news today; stats since day one are in the market overview.
