Crypto news today and prices
Crypto prices today are in the coin table, in dollars. Below is cryptocurrency news today for the current day: market-wide crypto events and fresh news for each coin, with the source and the price reaction.
Crypto prices right now
The crypto market today starts with bitcoin: it holds about 59% of all the market's money (as of October 30, 2026), and other coins usually follow it, harder or softer. The table shows each of the bot's coins in dollars at 00:00 UTC (the evening before in New York), with the current price beside it when the bot has one. KuCoin is the source, Gate the fallback. The whole market cap is on the chart.
| Coin | Price at 00:00 UTC | Page |
|---|---|---|
| BTC | $76,809 | Bitcoin today → |
| SOL | $91.98 | Solana today → |
| XRP | $1.25 | XRP today → |
| GRAM | $1.19 | Toncoin today → |
| XLM | $0.1630 | Stellar today → |
| PEPE | $0.00000478 | PEPE today → |
Market-wide crypto news today
Crypto market news today – events that affect all coins at once: press releases of the SEC, the CFTC and the European regulator ESMA, Fed decisions, announcements and failures of the Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX and Bybit exchanges, listings, hacks, exchange-traded funds. During the day the headlines come in the original, and a retelling appears in the morning in the daily recap.
Crypto news today
Fresh news on the bot's coins – bitcoin, XRP, Solana, GRAM, Stellar, PEPE – in one feed, latest on top. Each story shows the coin's own move, that is, the price reaction without the market.
Why crypto is going up or down
Why is crypto down or why is crypto up today – check whether everything fell at once. If yes, the answer is almost always in the general news: Fed decisions, flows into exchange-traded funds, regulators, exchange hacks and failures. If one coin fell while the market stands still, look in its feed. The bot's coins respond to the market differently: over the last 90 days PEPE moved about 2.15 times harder than bitcoin, XRP 1.6 times, Stellar 1.35, Solana 1.25, and GRAM weaker than bitcoin itself, about 0.85.
Crypto news today: two feeds
The page has two streams of news. The first is market-wide crypto news: events that affect all coins at once. The second is news of individual coins. It is useful to see them side by side. If everything fell, the reason is more often found in the general feed. If one coin fell – in its news. The bot merges the crypto news of the day: one story is one line, even if twenty outlets wrote about it.
Crypto price today: how to read the table
The table shows each coin's dollar price at the start of the UTC day and the change since then. The site runs on UTC, so in New York the day starts in the evening of the day before, in London around midnight. Prices come from KuCoin in 15-minute steps, and from Gate if KuCoin does not respond. We do not show crypto prices in other currencies: only exchange prices in dollars.
A 24-hour percentage alone says little about a coin. That is why for every coin except bitcoin the bot counts its own move – the price change minus beta multiplied by bitcoin's change. A coin that clearly moved away from the market is the main story of the day.
What moves the whole crypto market now
Exchange-traded funds
Inflows and outflows of spot funds on bitcoin, and now on XRP and Solana too, come out every day. On October 30, 2026, bitcoin funds in the US held $104.3 billion worth of coins. On October 31, $643 million left them – the bot rated this story as weighty.
The Fed and regulators
In 2026, expectations of a tight Fed coincided with crypto market drops – for example, at the end of July (Yahoo Finance). The bot takes rate decisions and SEC and CFTC press releases right from the agencies' sites and marks them as official. The CLARITY Act, the crypto market structure law, passed the US Senate Banking Committee in May 2026 (15 votes to 9), but never reached a vote of the full Senate (TFTC, 29.10.2026).
Exchange hacks and failures
On October 30, 2026, the feed had a Binance hack: bitcoin lost 0.86% that day, and liquidations, according to the news, exceeded $1 billion. The bot checks exchange announcements and their status pages together with the other sources.
The bot's coins against the market
There are six coins in the bot, and they are different on purpose. Bitcoin is the benchmark, everything else is compared with it. XRP and Solana are large coins that follow bitcoin with extra force. Stellar is a payment network that has moved into tokenization for banks more than the others. GRAM, formerly Toncoin, is the coin of a network linked to Telegram, and it depends on bitcoin least of all. PEPE is a meme coin, a thermometer of the crowd's mood. When the whole crypto market falls today and PEPE grows against it, the market is ready to take risks.
Coins are added gradually, up to ten. Each goes through the same analysis: its own official sources, its own beta to bitcoin, its own "today" and "yesterday" pages.
Cryptocurrency: latest news – where it comes from
The bot checks for new news every 30 minutes: major crypto media (CoinDesk, The Block, Cointelegraph, Decrypt, U.Today and others), Telegram channels (Wu Blockchain and others), YouTube, Google News and Bing News, regulator and exchange sites, the official channels of the projects themselves. Posts on X are collected once a day and shown only as a link. Mass feeds all get here, but with a level mark, so that a retelling is not confused with an official message. Only stories picked up by three outlets or more go to the Telegram bot.
What to do with this news
Nothing urgent. The page shows what is happening and how the price has already reacted, not what will happen next. Timing alone is not a cause, and there is no advice to buy or sell here. I made this feed for myself because I could not keep up with dozens of channels – and opened it for free. The result of the past day is on the What happened to crypto in 24 hours page, and market statistics from day one are in the market overview.

In the coin table: each coin's dollar price at 00:00 UTC plus the live price when the bot has it. KuCoin is the source, Gate the fallback.
What's going on with crypto today?
Look at the market cap chart and bitcoin: it sets the tone for the whole market. Then – the own move of the other coins in the table: the one that moved away from the market has the main story.
Why is crypto down today?
If everything fell at once, the reason is more often in the general news: the Fed, outflows from exchange-traded funds, regulators, exchange hacks. They are collected in the market-wide crypto news feed.

How is crypto market news different from coin news?

How often does the feed refresh?
The bot checks its sources every 30 minutes; the page build time is under the heading. The full daily recap appears each morning on the What happened to crypto in 24 hours page.
Every morning – a daily report for each coin, during the day – spikes and drops as soon as the bot catches them. A folder for every coin.
