news with the price reaction
XLM follows bitcoin with extra force – the 90-day beta is about 1.36, so the main number is its own move. A notable reaction is more than 1 percentage point. News about Stellar is sometimes published by low-quality sites, so look at the source level: the official blog and a retelling on a little-known site weigh differently.
Stellar: summary and history
Stellar's main news is not about technology but about partners: banks, funds, asset tokenization. The bot follows the stellar.org blog, network status, releases and protocol proposals directly. Stellar has been in the bot since October 30, 2026, so the day archive is still short.

Summary change log
In brief: the essentials about the coin in plain words
XLM statistics and analysis
Stellar's loudest events are about banks and funds: stablecoin pilots, tokenization of funds and bonds, plans of large settlement centers. But funds pay minimal fees in XLM, and the growth of the network does not have to lift the coin's price. So next to each such story is XLM's own move after 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours and 24 hours: you can see whether it really coincided with a reaction.
The next network event is the validator vote on the Protocol 30 upgrade in November 2026. Planned upgrades usually do not move the price, but the bot will flag any reaction.
Where the bot gets Stellar data
Stellar has eight sources of its own: the stellar.org blog, the network status page, stellar-core software releases, protocol proposals (CAP), three accounts on X – the official Stellar, network creator Jed McCaleb and SDF head Denelle Dixon – and Bing News. Plus 25 shared crypto sources.
Stellar has its own folder in the Telegram bot @invest_prs_bot. The result of the past day is on the What happened to Stellar in 24 hours page.
What is XLM (Stellar Lumens)
Stellar is a network for payments and tokenizing real assets: funds, bonds, stablecoins. XLM, or Lumens, is its coin. It pays the fees in the network. A transfer on Stellar is confirmed in seconds and costs a fraction of a cent.
The network was created in 2014 by Jed McCaleb – one of the creators of the XRP Ledger and a co-founder of Ripple. That is why Stellar is often called a "relative" of XRP: the same idea of fast and cheap transfers. The network is developed by the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF), headed by Denelle Dixon. McCaleb, Dixon and the official Stellar account are among the bot's sources on X.
On October 30, 2026, XLM cost $0.1708, the market cap was $6 billion, 19th place. The 24-hour trading volume is $228 million: liquidity is fine, but far from bitcoin, XRP or Solana.
Stellar crypto: how many XLM coins there are
There are about 50 billion XLM in total, 35.2 billion in circulation (70.5%). No new coins are issued: there is no inflation. The remaining 30% of the coins are at the disposal of the SDF foundation, which spends them on developing the ecosystem, and they gradually come to the market.
The network has its own agreement mechanism (Stellar Consensus Protocol) and Soroban smart contracts. There is no mining.
Tokenization: Stellar's main story
Tokenization is when a real asset, for example a fund share or a bond, is issued on a blockchain as a token. It can be transferred in seconds and without middlemen. This is exactly where Stellar is strongest now.
- According to the media, tokenized real assets on Stellar range from $2.75 billion (September 25, 2026) to almost $4 billion (end of October).
- On October 28, 2026, it was reported that the company Securitize plans to tokenize about $4 billion on Stellar.
- On October 30, 2026, according to Token Terminal as retold by U.Today, Stellar took about 92% of the daily inflow into tokenized funds – about $111.5 million.
- In September 2026 U.S. Bank, according to Cointelegraph, launched a stablecoin pilot for international transfers on Stellar.
- On October 17, 2026, reports appeared that DTCC – Wall Street's largest settlement center – will connect Stellar to its tokenization service in 2027. DTCC has not officially confirmed this.
An important caveat: the growth of tokenization on the network does not have to lift the XLM price. Funds pay tiny fees in XLM, and the assets themselves are priced in dollars. So the service measures such news: you can see whether a price reaction coincided with it.
How the network is used
Money in the network's apps (TVL) – $227 million, stablecoins on the network – $319 million, 25th place among networks (DefiLlama, 30.10.2026). For a $6 billion market cap this is not much: the network's main value is in the tokenized assets of banks and funds, not in financial apps for private users.

How XLM is linked to bitcoin
The correlation with bitcoin over 90 days is 0.75, beta is 1.36: XLM swings harder than bitcoin. Over a year the link is weaker: correlation 0.62, beta 1.07. Annual volatility is about 70–76%. Put simply, XLM follows the market, but its own news is more visible than for Solana and XRP. In October 2026 XLM lost 23% over 30 days, while bitcoin lost 8%.

- The price lags the market: minus 23% over 30 days, with bitcoin at minus 8%.

- 30% of the coins are with the SDF foundation and gradually come to the market.
- Competition in tokenization: Ethereum and its networks, Solana, banks' own networks.
- Weak sources: part of the news about Stellar is published by low-quality sites. The bot shows the source level for each story.
